Abby's Dollhouse

May Grandmom and Grandad built this dollhouse for me when I was 4 years old. They spent about a year building the actual dollhouse, and several years building all of the furniture. I was so proud of this dollhouse, and one day wanted my daughter to have it. Needless to say, after spending about twenty years in the attic, the dollhouse needed quite a bit of work. Here is the final product. The house used to be yellow, brown and white. I let Abby pick out all of the colors inside and out. Hopefully, she will be able to pass it down to her daughter someday.

I had to take the entire dollhouse apart. All of the glue was coming undone, and everything needed to be re-painted. Here it is completely taken apart.

Abby enjoyed picking out all of the colors. All of the furniture is original. A few things have been re-upholstered.
