Our Vegas Getaway

After the move, Jayme and I decided to take a quick trip. It was a nice getaway. The kids had a ton of fun at NaNa and PaPa's house, and we spent 4 days in Las Vegas. We have never stayed downtown, so we thought we would give it a try. We stayed at the Golden Nugget. We were very pleased.

If you have never been to Freemont Street at night, you need to try it sometime. This picture was taken right outside of our hotel. It is a giant canopy of lights over the street. It is a pretty cool light show!!

Jayme has always loved the show "American Chopper". He was pretty excited that he got to see several of their choppers in person. These were made for Criss Angel, the magician, and were on display in the Luxor. On the last night, we went and saw his show. It had a lot of Cirque de Soleil in it, so it was a little different for our taste, but very entertaining.

Here is the pool at the Golden Nugget. Behind the yellow wall is a giant shark tank. There is also a water slide that goes right through it. Pretty Cool!!!
